Why I Decided to Become a Hospice Nurse

At a young age, Lauren was inspired to become a nurse by her aunt, who would take Lauren on medical missions to Mexico. By the time she was four, Lauren had begun accompanying her aunt to Mexico, watching her take medicine across the border and teach the Mexican communities about health. In college, Lauren realized that being with and serving people in need was her calling in life.
