My roll as a registered nurse in hospice is to help the patients with daily activities. Like taking baths, brushing teeth, an be a companion when their family can’t be present. I also maintain communication with the rest of the team to improve the patients care. One of the things that motivates me to care for terminally ill patients is to provide them with quality of life during their final moments and to be there as a support and friend. To make them smile and help them have a good day.
