COVID-19 (Coronavirus): Important Hospice Information

At Suncrest Home Health & Hospice, we believe that exceptional care must include clear communication. In light of the growing concern surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and our healthcare community’s efforts to mitigate its presence in the communities we serve, our team at Suncrest has been working diligently on:

  • Gathering the most current COVID-19 data and updates from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Iowa Healthcare Association (IHCA), the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL)
  • Collaborating in real-time with our healthcare partners in Long Term Care, Independent/Assisted Living, Acute Care, and our network of Physicians/ARNP’s to collaborate care that adheres to each individual facility’s new (and likely evolving) COVID-19 screening/prevention policy
  • Communicating proactively with our patients and their families to provide education and support during this rapidly-changing international public health event
  • Mitigate concern, panic and propagation of false information regarding COVID-19 that could inhibit our ability to provide care to our patients.
